Overview

The Kovai Turbo360 integration platform in Azure consists of two main parts.

  1. Platform & Common Services - Resources that ara managed centrally and can be used by the integration solutions. Think of API Management, Data Gateways, etc.

  2. Interfaces - The actual integration solutions that might use platform & common services, but also have their own Azure resources

In this Platform & Common Services section, we discuss of what services it exists and give a high-level overview of these services. The Interfaces are discussed in a separate section.

Currently, the following platform and common services exist.

  • API Management - Used as a centralized point for the APIs we want to be exposed to the outside world.

  • Data Gateways - The Data Gateways are running in Virtual Machines and serve to expose systems that still run on-premises.

  • Event APIs - Access to Application Insights.

  • Health Checks - Used to centralize health check monitoring of APIs.

  • Service Bus - A centralized Service Bus that can be used by multiple systems.

Management

These common services are managed within our Platform area in Turbo360

These assets are reused by many different integrations implementing different use cases.
